Enfield Gospel Festival 6-A-Side Tournament

Once a year in the summer I organise a 6-A-Side football tournament in Enfield for the Enfield Gospel Festival; the next one is on the 20th July 2013. The rules as follows;
 

Teams:

    * Each team may not have more than 9 players; of which no more than 2 may be substitutes.

·         The games are 10 minutes each half and in the knock out stages 2 minutes each half for extra time
   
    * All players must wear shin-pads. Any player not wearing shin-pads will not be permitted to enter the field of play.

, the following rules apply for the tournament:

    * There is NO head-height rule (ball is allowed to be kicked above head-height).
    *  Players may attempt to score from any area of the pitch without restriction. ( i.e. there is NO goalkeeper-only area)
    * There is no offside rule.
    * Goalkeepers are not permitted to pick up a back-pass.
    * Goalkeepers can kick the ball out of their hands.
    * A thrown-in will be taken in the same manner as accepted in an 11-a-side game. (i.e. over the head) Kick-ins, or roll-ins are not permitted.
    *  Rolling Substitutions are permitted. Any team wishing to make a substitution must first inform the match referee. The substitution can only occur when the ball is out of play.
    * All other rules and regulations are the same as the Laws of the Game, as set out by the Football Association. Misconduct The Referee has the authority to take disciplinary sanctions, as set out in the laws of the game.
    * A player who is cautioned will be required to leave the field of play for  2 minutes. The disciplined player may only re-enter the field of play once permitted by the referee.
    * A red card will result in the player missing the next match.

   The Competition’s organizer and REFEREE’s decision are final


Group stage:

   The first rounds of games are played on a league basis, when teams finish level on points and goal difference the number of goal scored with determine qualifier, if that is the same then least goals conceded will be considered, if that is equal too, then a ‘Golden goal play-off’ game between the two team will take place duration of 2 minutes each half followed by penalty shoot (if necessary).

* 3 points are awarded for a win, 1 point for a draw and zero points for a loss.
    * The TOP TWO TEAMS will progress to the knock out stage.
    * The TOP TWO TEAMS will be decided in the following order:

   1. most points scored
   2. highest goal difference
   3. most goals scored
   4. least goals conceded

Knock-out stage:

    * If scores are level at full-time, then a ‘Silver goal extra time will be played 2 minutes each half, followed by penalty shoot outs (if necessary).  

Penalty shoot outs: both sides will take five penalty kicks each alternatively, followed by sudden-death (if necessary).
    * Only the players on the field of play at full time are permitted to take penalty kicks.


Awards:

    * The WINNERS of the tournament will receive a team trophy and individual medals.
    * The RUNNERS-UP ( Men’s team only ) will receive individual medals Decision Any decision(s) made by the match referees and/or the administrators is final.

The organizer will not accept any responsibility for any injury or damage to players or spectators or their property which may occur during the game.

Zone tolerance:

The organizer will not tolerate any form of inappropriate language or threatening behavior from any team particularly aimed towards match officials and reserve the right to ask the individual to leave.
